Helen assisted Gaja with DNA isolation from mouse blood and human samples, PCR and gel electrophoresis, mouse bone marrow isolation, cell culture of primary cells and established cell lines, flow cytometry for phosphoflow and staining and analyzing mouse blood samples by flow cytometry.</image:caption>

She joined the lab Winter 2023 in hopes to enhance findings and research involving oncology. She became super passionate about the field of oncology when she started volunteering at St.Jude’s Infusion Center and formed deep connections with several patients and nurses.
